Jack Rasmus is a professor in the Economics and Politics
departments at Saint Mary's College. His focus is on economic inequities.
He is the author of Epic Recession and Global Financial Crisis. He
has served as an economist and analyst for several global companies, as well
as serving as a local union president and organizer for several labor
unions.

became director of the economics department in 1970. He graduated from
Moravian College in 1941 and received a Ph.d. from Columbia University

October of 1987 he joined the U.S. Department of Energy, where he remained until
retiring in 2012.
