Moines, Iowa. Attended CGO conferences in Lake Geneva, WI, ST. Louis,
MO, and Ottawa, Canada. Iowa contact on CGUSA's membership brochure "contact"
list and CGUSA's Board/Networking memorandums mailing list.
Damon writers letters to editors, networks with local business
people, and contacts local politicians on City Council and on the
School board. He has written articles published in Reason Papers
(academic journal published by same Foundation as publishes Reason
Magazine), Land & Liberty, and two Anthologies edited by Dr. Ken
Wenzer.
Damon is a second generation Georgist. His father is Everett Gross.
He earned a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from doane College. He
also received Master and Ph.D. degrees in Philosophy from the
University of Iowa. He has taught philosophy on a temporary or
part-time basis in seven colleges and universities, mostly in Iowa.
Currently he is an adjunct Philosophy teacher at Wartburg College. His
teaching interests are in Logic, Ethics, and Social and Political
Philosophy. He is a member of the American Philosophical Association
and earns his living as a software analyst.
